Suggested Use
A great way to introduce the concept of indicators. These flowers are pre-treated with phenolthalein. Phenolthalein turns pink in the presence of a base (like baking soda solution), clear again when an acid is used (like vinegar). Discuss the use of indicators in medical testing, pool management, soil testing, etc.
