This Seela Science® kit helps children explore and better understand:
1) Lively Larva - the larva stage of a moth is called a caterpillar which eats constantly getting ready for the next stage of a moth’s life cycle, the pupa
2) Cocoon Cover - when caterpillars have stored enough energy they enter the third stage of the moth’s life cycle, the pupa, where they create and live in a cocoon
3) Mightly Moth - when the pupa emerges from the cocoon it begins the adult stage, the fourth stage of a moth’s life cycle
4) Pleasing Plants - plants have life cycles; many plants have flowers, these make a dust-like material called pollen which helps make seeds; seeds make new plants
5) Spreading Seeds - that seeds must be spread around to help plants survive; if too many seeds are in the same spot new plants become too crowded to grow well
6) Life Cycles - that all living things have life cycles; they are born, they grow, they reproduce, and they eventually die; most living things closely resemble their parents (egg, chick, chicken)
